THE WATER-RESISTANT FROST-RESISTANT UNIQUE GREEN CLAY MATERIALS
At IDEAS AND PROJECTS FOR MANKIND ORG, we’ve developed a groundbreaking, patented process for producing ecological, economical, unfired clay materials that are:
- Water-resistant
- Frost-resistant
- Slightly water-absorbent
- Unfired
- Air-dried
- Highly insulating
- Completely iring
Unlike traditional clay products that require energy-intensive firing, our materials are, when compressed and air-dried, eliminating the need for firing and drastically reducing CO2 emissions and energy consumption - also for heating and cooling.
THE PROBLEM WITH TRADITIONAL CLAY FIRING
For centuries, clay bricks, tiles, and pottery have been fired at extreme temperatures to make them weatherproof:
- Bricks & Roof Tiles: Fired at 910 – 1200°C for 6 – 36 hours
- Pottery: Fired at 1100 – 1300°C for up to 12 hours
This process is not only environmentally damaging due to high CO2 emissions aHnd energy use, but also economically costly.
Unsuccessfully, both the International Brick and Tile Industry and the European Commission have long sought alternatives to firing clay.
OUR BREAKTHROUGH: UNFIRED, AIR-DRIED CLAY
We hold the Austrian patent for a revolutionary method that produces unfired clay products with exceptional durability:
- Withstands weeks of water exposure without dissolving
- Remains structurally sound after freezing at -20°C and below
- Retains full load-bearing capacity
- Offers high insulation and fire resistance
This innovation is not only a climate-conscious alternative, but also a life-saving one - ideal for cladding and insulation that can help prevent tragedies like the GRENFELL - TOWER - FIRE - DISASTER in England.
APPLICATIONS OF OUR CLAY TECHNOLOGY
Our method can be applied mechanically or manually to produce a wide range of sustainable building materials:
Product Types:
- Bricks, Clay Blocks, Clay Elements
- Plasters, Claddings
- Walls, Floors
- Loose Insulation Materials
- Flat Roof-, Pool-, and Waste Disposal Sealing
- Pottery
We use a minimal amount of clay as a binder, combining it with regrowing materials that enhance insulation, reduce weight and crack formations, and make our products exceptionally light and efficient.
GLOBAL VISION, LOCAL IMPACT
Our mission is to license and share our technology, empowering communities and industries to build sustainably.
We offer:
- Licensing opportunities
- Technical consultations
- Certification for licensees
This innovation aligns with global climate goals and offers a practical path toward a carbon-neutral construction industry.
